CatPrint classifies any print over 12" x 18" as a wide-format project, requiring wide-format poster stocks.
If you prefer to use one of our specialty poster stocks for a print smaller than 12" x 18", simply select a wide-format paper option when placing your order!

How do I set up a wide format poster order?
On the order builder page, choose one of our three wide format paper options: Uncoated Poster Paper, Luster Gloss Poster Paper, or Art Quality Poster Canvas. Then, complete the remaining job details, such as size and quantity. If you’d like a price quote, feel free to email our Customer Service Team with your order details and file, if available!
How do you print your wide formart posters?
Our wide format poster printers use pigment-based inks which offer superior longevity and resistance to fading. To ensure your prints last as long as possible, we recommend avoiding direct sunlight, high humidity, or extreme temperatures. For added protection, consider museum grade framing materials such as acid-free matting and uv-blocking glass. Applying a UV-protective spray or clear coating to the print can also help preserve the vibrancy of the ink colors over time.
What are the file requirements?
Your files should be:
- At least 300 DPI
- High Resolution PDFs, JPGs, TIFFs, or PNGs
- Created in CMYK Color Format
What should my file dimensions be?
File dimensions must match the print dimensions exactly. For instance, if you’re printing a 24" x 36" poster, your file must also be 24" x 36". For full-bleed prints, the file should be 1/4" larger on both sides than the final cut size, meaning a 24" x 36" poster would need a file size of 24.25" x 36.25"
